Finally got the hang of the alarm system. These instruction manuals are ridiculously convoluted and the men who installed it were virtually no help whatsoever. Now I just need to remember the key-code.

I refuse to give bereavement counselling when the loss suffered is a dog. And no, I do not think I am being unreasonable in this--a good psychiatrist would be of more use than I.
